Very pretty little bird and in great condition, Jenni!
Very nice detail and color!
The teal blending into the blue is exquisite in this beauty of enameling and use of rhinestones seals the dream !~
He's BEAUTIFUL!!! My favorite upload of yours this week- he kinda reminds me of a bluejay too? I adore his gorgeous blue shades all in shiny enamel, which again, remind me of cool swimming pools in hot summers? Or the riverbank as he IS a kingfisher?! I can see him sitting on a branch staring avidly at the river... :)
Oh, that's a beauty! Reminds me of a Mockingbird.
Happy Spring & thank you all for the love

Thanks Kevin for your awesome praise, I know you appreciate Fenton glass and am glad I chose well here, I just love the smooth appearance of this bird it doesn't need paint touches to make it pretty
Thank you MrsT for your lovely comment, Carolee did bird jewelry very well esp making the shape very realistic, and I too love the colors of the feathers & superb detail
Phil thanks so much for your fantastic praise, it's true the color blends of the enamel are very striking as is the rhinestone breast. The colors may exaggerate reality in this songbird's case but they definitely bring it to life!
Thank you Lauren for your fabulous comment and I'm glad this bird is your fave of my posts this wk! Your imagery by the pool and riverbank is truly delightful, and as for the bird type, lady bluejay is also a good possibility
Scott thank you for your wonderful comment and mockingbird is another great suggestion! Because the longish bill is slightly curved at the end it also reminds me of the Hawaiian amakihi which can only take nectar from tubular flowers, they are gorgeous small green birds and one actually flew onto our breakfast table of our hotel lanai, such a charming sight
What a beautiful piece of jewelry!
Thank you so much vintagelamp for your lovely compliment, Carolee made such gorgeous bird jewelry and not that many are widely available, so this was a really lucky find & I'm really glad you liked it
Many thanks vintagelamp & raven for the kind love also!
Thank you rancherswife for the love for this Carolee bird, I'm truly glad that you liked it and very grateful for your kind support
Thanks Penny & Maggie357 for the love for this Carolee bird, so glad that you both liked it and truly appreciate your kindness
Birds are my favourite creatures, they keep me entertained and grounded, so of course I love this brooch Jenni!
It has such a lovely design in enamel and rhinestone yet it's the shape I adore most.
Karen I'm a great bird lover too, they are endlessly fascinating to watch and now it is Spring here so they are very active - I've noticed different species feeding on the ground together, they are too happy at the weather change to be territorial! You of course have the most beautiful birds in Aus. Thank you for this lovely comment & kind praise for the birdie brooch, but esp for your sweet email, I am so glad to hear you are doing good & I promise not to let you down with my glass paperweight (it looks rather like an ice cube lol) which looks much better in my tablet pix on a sunny day. Take good care my friend, lotsa luv :)
Many thanks ho2 for the thoughtful love for this bird brooch, I love its bright coloring & am very pleased that you enjoyed it
Thanks Pascale & aura for the really kind love for this Carolee bird, so pleased that you enjoyed it & grateful for your thoughtful consideration
