Miniature German Crescent Wrench
Approximately 2 5/8"
Made in Germany
I found this tiny crescent wrench. Never seen one so small. It appears to be very well made. I'm not sure why they made this so small? But I found it while doing inventory on some 1940s erector sets from a recent lot purchase. It fits in perfectly with the tiny screwdrivers that came in the erector sets of that vintage.
KARL PETERSON
In 1907 the inventor and Sweedish immigrant founded the Crescent Tool Company. Shortly after that he introduced the first open end adjustable spanner wrench. This was a revolution in tool technology, allowing users to replace whole sets of fixed wrenches.
Great post Dave!! Has to be the absolute smallest Crescent wrench I've ever seen!
Thanks Scott. It's The smallest one I've seen too.
Thanks to everyone for looking and loving my small post.
