Anything Obscure posted a bull ring that he had in his collection.
I mentioned to him that, if I could find them, I would post a picture of the ones that I have kept over the years from local butcher shops in my area.
I looked in my brass junk and "Low & Behold", I found them. It's amazing how you can lose items in your home. and forget all about them for years. I took a photo and there are 50 rings of different sizes. I guess, the larger the bull, the larger the ring.
I've been told that I know a lot about "BULL____", now I guess this proves it.
I posted Anything Obscure's photo of his ring as it is opened to place in the bull's nose, so you can see the likeness when opened.
His photo is the last of the photos, and I thank you Anything, for the posting and nudging me to trigger this old fart as to finding his.
Remember, the last photo is from Anything Obscure's collection of obscurities, and the other photos are of my rings.
Can someone tell my how you can lose 20 pounds of brass items, when you know it is somewhere in your basement?
Haven't seen any of these in many years. I remember as a kid, we had a Charolais bull on our farm that was the most rambunctious animal I've ever seen. I remember watching my Dad and Grandfather ringing that bull's nose. A scene I'll never forget!!!!!!
