Here is a really neat piece of Art Nouveau iridescent glass that I found on eBay AU - lucky for me, I was the sole bidder.
This single epergne features a trumpet shaped vase made from clear glass with a swirling ribbed pattern with an iridescent finish.
Alone, it measures 16 cm tall, & around 8 cm across the trefoil crimped top rim. The base is neatly ground. With a silver plate stand, the total height is 22 cm tall.
I believe that this is most likely an example of English iridescent glass by John Walsh Walsh, circa 1900.
This was rather dusty & dull but has scrubbed up very nicely!
Beautiful!! And I love the photo settings!
Many thanks, Scott!
