Hello everyone!
In continuation of my cast iron goose doorstops. This one is what I refer to as a Mother Goose doorstop. Though this one is not antique, vintage or even a reproduction, but rather new in the world of doorstops. John Wright Studios, in Pennsylvania, produced this doorstop in the 1980's. As with all other John Wright Studio doorstops, their details and paint jobs are impeccable, to say the least. I love everything about this design from her bonnet right down to her well defined feet. Mother Goose is quite large for a doorstop and measures 13 5/8" tall and 9 1/8" wide.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!
