This is a recent find, even though I kind of promised myself not to buy any more vases, especially if I don't know what they are. I broke my rule because this vase looked too nice to pass on.
The glass looks like typical cobalt glass. There is no pontil. The decoration appears to be hand applied. There is some resemblance with vases made in Czechoslovakia, Italy or Japan, but the flowers are different.
Of course I am just speculating but I think that the vase could date as early as the turn of the last century.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
Thanks a lot for loving my vase, Alfie21, sklo42, Watchsearcher, vetraio50, dav2no1 and jscott0363 :)
