    This watch was my grandfathers. I can’t find any similar watch with this unique face. Any ideas on how old it is? I don’t see many Gruen watches with no numbers on the face and the diamond accents. Thanks for any thoughts!

      Here's one..

      You need to open the back.. inside will be a serial number,, etc.. then you can accurately date the watch.

      If that listingbis correct(images blurry), then that movement should be 1950s. But opening it up and getting pictures of the numbers is the best way. Most watch places will do it for a few dollars.
