Hello everyone!!
I have many rabbit and hare doorstops and sculptures in my collection. But, out of all that I have in my collection, I love this particular design of hare the best. I've collected all of these over a 15 year period. They're becoming more and more difficult to find and when I do manage to find one, the sellers usually want a small fortune for them.
These fellows reside outdoors throughout the year and have faired very well against the elements. On this beautiful Spring morning, I decided to bring them inside and give them a good cleaning and waxing. Before I set them back in their usual spot on our back patio, I thought I'd photograph them is the new Spring grass. These fellows are quite large and measure 12" tall and 11" long. They each weigh in at 10lbs 6oz.
Thanks very much for taking time to stop in for a look!!

Thank you all for the loves and for stopping by!!!
Just love the red eyes and they look so clean, they must have a very good groomer in tow to get that sheen, definitely show livestock !~
Eileen,
Thanks very much!! Yes, I always think of Watership Down. The only one missing would be Big Wig:) Thanks again!!
Phil,
Thanks friend!! These fellows get a fresh coat of transparent wax every Spring. It's actually quite a job waxing and polishing up all of my critters. But, very much worth all of the trouble.
