I have been doing some spring cleaning and this one has been sitting in the cupboard for a few years. It's from a time before Covid, when we still had church garage sales. I got it for a dollar and I believe, I paid what it is worth. I think that the jar might date to around the 1960's, and I also think that it is poorly painted and mass produced. For that reason, to me, it doesn't even have a decorative value. Now, my daughter wants it but she has a cat. I am mentioning the cat because the jar won't live very long. Before I pass it on, I want to show it to you.
Thanks for looking:)
Beautiful ginger jar!!
Is there any Cloisonné on it ??
Thanks very much for your comment, jscotto262 :)
Antiquerose, there is no Cloisonné on the pot. The paint has been generously applied. There are lines/imprints of the images that have been filled in with paint or enamel.
Thanks for your question:)
