This 1 3-4" goldtone brooch has numerous red rhinestone navettes in a domed design. By Emmons (1948-1981), a sister company of Sarah Coventry founded by Charles Stuart. This brooch dates from 1968 & was named Wildfire
Beautiful brooch! I love the red rhinestones!!
The two rows of long navettes seem to be in the running for a top piece, and the top stone with so many prongs is a favourite to steal any show !~
Nice find, did not know they are sister companies with Coventry.
Thank you very much for the love

Thank you Scott for your fabulous compliment, the red stones are really intense here esp on a bright sunny day when I took the pix
Phil thanks so much for your fantastic praise, yes the long navettes are really pretty here and offset the central top portion beautifully, glad you liked
Thank you MrsT for your great comment, yes they were called sister co's as they were both started by Charles Stuart, however S. Coventry was much more popular - yet the Emmons designs I have are very original & lovely
Thanks Mary and Drake47 for the love, it's so kind of you both and I'm always grateful for the thoughtful consideration

Gorgeous red rhinestone brooch, Jenni. Love all those prong-set navettes. And aren’t those prongs something — amazing length.

Daisy thank you for your wonderful compliments, this was a surprise find for me as I never knew Emmons made something so fancy! You're right, they really went big here with the navettes and prongs, this piece has certainly stood the test of time with all that security :)

I own and run the largest Facebook group related to Sarah Coventry and Emmons jewelry (sister companies) and can identify that pin for you as WILDFIRE from 1968.
This is a gorgeous brooch!!! Has the look of a D & E piece!
DejaVu thank you for your fabulous compliments & love, you are so right the navette design is a very D & E style and not typical for Emmons, looks like they were trying something new & boy did it turn out pretty :)
Huffstutler thank you so much for your super input about titling & dating my Emmons pieces, I have added them to the descriptions & left a comment on one of your posts to further answer you
