What a beautiful little glass bluebird! I love how the wings and tail are so nicely detailed!
I finally got another piece of bedroom and bathroom glassware from the thirties and I hate to say I am hooked. If these were as nice I would be a goner so don't tell me ! The blue colour make them look as free as the skies !~
He's beautiful! The little spread wings make him look so happy! :D
He's sitting in a tree somewhere thrilling his little heart out because it's Spring ^^
The blue is also adorable, really bright and crystal clear and very fresh looking :)
My thanks to you all for the kind love

Thank you Searching for your awesome praise, it is indeed a perfect bird for Spring and quite a cutie :) Most of my backyard birds this yr so far have been robins, who are very cheerful as well when they hop across the lawn
Scott thank you for your super compliment, I have to agree this bird is very well formed and it's amazing that even though it is hand blown glass, the ends are so nicely grooved
Thanks a bunch Phil for your fabulous comment, this is certainly a free flying bird and in a lovely blue! Your bed & bath decor sounds beautiful, if there are animal items in it I'll bet it's delightful!
Lauren thank you so much for your super compliments, you have described this happy lil bluebird perfectly!! The Swedish glassmakers often used this beautiful shade of blue in the 70s era while Americans favored cobalt for the most part, I much prefer this pretty ocean hue as you're right, it has a fresh clear look
Many thanks vintagelamp for the love for this Swedish glass bluebird, I hope it reminds you that Spring is here & birds are happily singing in the trees, love this time of year!
cute ,,,pretty blue..taboot...
Thanks Shuzbut & Bruce for the love it's so kind of you both, and thank you Shuzbut for your super compliment!
