The previous owner had owned this baby carrier for 45 years. When he bought the piece from an architect, it was said to be well over 50 years old. He said it was brought to Germany 110 years ago, around 1910. The pattern was no longer recognizable under all the dust of the decades past. I can't find a comparable piece. He said it's from Africa and I guess he is right, but does anyone know more? Thanks
