I've said that I wasn't going to buy any more hand vases...but sometimes you have to make an exception.
Such as, when you're at an antiques fair for the first time in two years, & you spot something that makes you feel all nostalgic & full of good vibes. Oh, & it can be counted as a birthday present as well!
So, what could I do but give in? It was a very reasonable price too.
This Victorian hand vase is made from a single layer of opaque white (milk) glass. It measures 22.3 cm tall, 10.7 across the crimped top rim, & 8 cm across the base, which has a rough, snapped pontil mark. There is hand painted enamel decoration encircling the upper part of the vase.

I saw it and thought that it was meant to be yours, Marin. I’m so that we did not catch up on Sunday. Great vase.
LOL yes I've sen you say that :)
Many thanks, kivatinitz!
Thanks also, Kevin! Wasn't it a great day? So nice that you saw this one & thought of me! Maybe we'll catch up next month...
Thanks so much, Bernard - as James Bond said - never say never again!
