STIEFF? Antique CAT Figurine Brush

Any early STIEFF collectors out there able to verify this. A lovely small ( 6.5" long ) well worn/used velvet? covered CAT figurine clothes brush, possibly for children's clothing, probably from the early 1900's and in very good condition for age and use. Only seen one to date, looking very similar but not in any way as good condition, which was described as STIEFF.
