The festival of Britain was held in the summer of 1951 over a period of several months, visitors were given this souvenir on visiting the several locations in London of it being held to show the weather they could expect on that day. On this occasion a cold front was moving south east across Britain , with low pressure to the north west and high pressure to the south east. Published by the meteorological office on 7th July 1951.
