Wonderful Easter egg brooch!! I love the little chick hatching out.

What a sweet brooch! The details are awesome! I have a curiosity question if you don’t mind. The sparkles throughout, that’s not glitter on the outside, is it? If not, is it glitter mixed in with the material when formed? Is it something else entirely? Thanks, Newfld! Such a sweet little treasure!

Very cute detailed little brooch and very fitting with the seasonal theme. Reminds me of certain sweets you can get made out of marshmallow with the chick coming out of the egg in very pastel colors. I think most are coated in sugar and tend to go a bit hard and chewy...?
The details on the egg are great too- I adore the little flowers studding the egg- very cheerful!!!

Thank you Scott for your terrific comment & enjoying the little chick hatching design, it was so original I thought perfect for Eastertime

rancherswife thanks so much for your great praise and thoughtful question. The sparkles are inside overglazed on the enamel, not outside glitter, so it is most unusual and very festive

Thanks Lauren for your awesome comment and you are talking about one of my fave Easter sweets called "peeps," they are marshmallow chicks & bunnies coated in colored crystallized sugar and always remind me of childhood sweets like cotton candy at the circus (how I bemoan its demise, what a happy place for the animal lover). And yes, they harden after opening the pkge, but I happen to like them a bit firmer...I am showing my sweet tooth obsession here! I agree the little flowers with rhinestones are quite cheery

MrsT thank you for your lovely comment, glad you liked Alfred Sung's chick he made some cute figurals, I am always looking around for an unusual one like this. The enamel with the sparkly swirls is really cool

Thank you Phil for your fabulous praise and you're right, the little animal definitely looks surprised, he is seeing the world for the first time! And the green topped yellow enamel egg sure is pretty & cheerful

vintagelamp I am so glad you found this lil chick a cutie, it is a very unique design with a sense of humor :) Wonderful comment thank you so much!!
