I've been searching for several years to see anything like this, but need help zeroing in on the timeframe of this sign. It is masonite and is 30.5" high and 20" wide. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Masonite was invented in 1924. But judging by the clothing..it may be 1960-70? Just a guess

Short skirts didn't come into fashion until after 1965..what I was getting at.

I've been trying to figure out what the purpose of this sign would have been, unless it was simply for the artistic value. It seems strange that it would have been made as a sign, on Masonite, rather than on a canvas or paper.

Looks like it is a part of something like the front of a schoolhouse that is missing? Looks more like 1940s-50s to me . Very cool graphics . I don't think boys wore shorts like that is USA in 1950's unless this was made in another country .

A doll house side wall seems to make sense for both the size, the locations of the holes and the overall size. Any other ideas?
