This is a microphone that apparently precedes the RCA PB-17 ribbon microphone so far as I can tell. It uses 245 tubes in the amplifier. It has electromagnetic field for the ribbon as opposed to later permanent magnet designs. It is in a heavy bell housing that is one large piece rather than the bell/cylinder two piece housing of the PB-17.
Does anyone know any more about this microphone?
