      A very nice pair!! They appear to be ceramic. If so, based on the initials and date, they may have been made by an individual in a ceramics class or shop.

      Try to find out about I.F.D. if you can, as that does not sound like a class piece.

      I’d agree, crafter/hobbyist molds with commercial glazes.
