Hello everyone!!
Another recent find is this wonderful vintage cast iron rooster. It's a copy of the original Verona Company version that was made in the early 1900's. Though this one looks exactly the same as the original, there is a difference. The original was a two piece design and this one is solid cast iron. Other than that, it's identical to the original. Pic #4 shows an original Verona Company cast iron rooster that this one is modeled after. It measures 12 1/8" tall, the base is 4 1/4" and it weighs nearly 11lbs.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
