    I’ve bought this krag m30 rifle, was wondering if anyone knew what proof mark stamp that is above the m30 stamp, also if anyone knows the year it was manufactured

      Ah right ok thank you, it was manufactured in 1897, does that mean it was issued to the military

      "All versions and variants were manufactured under license by the Springfield Armory between 1892 and 1903 and famously served as the longarm during the Spanish–American War."

      This I fo is from wiki, but I believe it is accurate. It's a start, more research needed. I know a little, but these rifles are not my expertise..
