Hi, I am trying to date these lamps. (have a pair). Have searched for everything Stiffel that I can find but nothing really like these. They are enamel on metal and I cannot find a mark on the base. Thirty inches high without milk glass shade which is six / six and a half inches. Thanks! PS. no idea why my photo files flipped, cannot change. Sorry!

These were commen in the 1970's, they made the lamps with sometimes a lamp table and/or coffee table of these composition lamps and table bases. The lamp shade were also used in the 1960's for the tri-lite lamps where the 250 watt was a table burner so they stopped using those hurtful bulbs. These shades were sold en masse through the mail order catalogs also and many are in my catalogs, sold each year.

One quick fix for the pics are using a table top computer to enter your post. You never get sideways pics that way.

Another idea on photo processing-if you’re using a smartphone to take the pics all you have to do is use your edit feature, change any one thing (and you can even change it back). As long as you use the edit function your pics will post right side up. When I first started on CW a few months ago someone on here gave someone else on here this tip. I tried it. It works every time! Good luck!
