Nautical chest

I picked this chest of drawers up at a flea market a while back. I bought it cheap because it needs refinished. I liked it because I have never seen anything like it. I have looked on the internet for similar items and I found rock maple chest of drawers with a center imprint similar to this one, but not one with a crest like this. It doesn't have any branding or marking on it that I can find. It has machined dovetailed drawers. It is made with slotted screws and with a center runner, so I'm guessing maybe 1940s or 1950s? Any information is appreciated.
