I bought this from an estate sale. Trying to see if anyone knows what origin it came from. I think it’s teak and old but not sure it looks hand carved The pictures don’t show all the detail that went into this table and it’s very heavy

It again looks like a piece from Indonesia, this is an unfinished piece of carving !~

It's very interesting in that the carvings seem uniformly 'unfinished' all the way around, as if it might have been intended to be left that way...??? It's difficult to tell from the pics, but the grain on the top slats could be teak, which is a very dense/heavy wood. The carved edges look more reddish to me that might even suggest rosewood (another dense/heavy variety) and I kinda think both are typically used in middle eastern furniture...?? It is a very cool table no matter what it is or where its from, are there any marks or anything on its underside?

Probably intended - I see a lot of this furniture and they like to leave something wrong so people might think it old. They like to put on pulls for instance which are missing one or two of them.
