    Carved Stone Raven

    Approximately 1 1/2" x 2"
    Stone: Black Onyx
    Made In: Peru

    My nephew gave me this for my birthday, along with the other duck I posted. It's a carved onyx raven. Has some colored eyes.

    "QUOTH THE RAVEN 'NEVERMORE"
    Common ravens and crows are related, with the raven being a larger bird. From what I've read and documentaries I've seen, ravens like shiny objects and will steal your keys.

    In 1845, American writer Edgar Allan Poe wrote the poem The Raven. The poem is about a talking raven's mysterious visit to a distraught lover, tracing the man's slow descent into madness.
