Rare 1980's Culver "Malibu" Glass Set

This is one of my favorite glass sets. It took me 3 years to get all these pieces. Culver produced many "shell" barware sets in the MCM years, but this set is from the mid-80's. Very hard to find these. Not sure if not many were made, or maybe nobody is selling them.

These are pristine, and one of each size (these are higballs and lowballs) has a label. Awesome shell with 22k gold accents on each glass, 4 different shells with their names in gold. I use these, very carefully.

The shell area is slightly raised and feels like enamel, which is quite different from my older Culver glassware, which does have texture, but is not nearly as raised.

Culver made a literal ton of gilded glassware in the MCM years and up into the early 90's. With care, these can last a lifetime. Excessive use of the glasses will eventually degrade the gold, but it sure is fun using them!
