i found this small electric fan the other day. I can't find any markings beyond a couple parts numbers on the underside of the base. The fan is extremely skinny / flat and there is a hole for wall mounting it. It's not working and i'm wondering whether it is worth getting it fixed. Thank you!

An Air Master by Darnell Laboratory. I 2would not spend much to get it fixed.

So cute! Really thin and the design is cool and it deserves a restoration.

It looks like it has a "c-frame" motor inside with part of the coil visible thru the center slot in the housing. Those aren't inherently all that strong, if the armature/blade is sticky and gummed up, that could be all that's keeping it from running correctly and even if it still turns freely there's just not much else that could 'go wrong'. It'd be a simple matter to check its cord, switch, and even the motor coil itself (for somebody) with a basic electrical multimeter, and the coil/motor is the only part that might be difficult to replace. I'd certainly want to find out, if it was mine...?? :-) :-) :-)
