Hello everyone!!
Here's a doorstop that you won't see often. It's a cast iron Harlequin doorstop by Mayfair, Inc. This one is a very rare find in the world of doorstops. This Harlequin was made by Mayfair, Inc (not to be confused with Wayfair) and you can see the © MAYFAIR INC. on the mid section of the back of this doorstop. Though I've never been successful at finding any information on Mayfair, Inc., I'm told this was made in the very early 1900's. This one measures 10 5/8" tall and 7 5/8" wide. This Harlequin weighs 7lbs 8oz. So, quite heavy.
