We have vases and other glass items that have white trailings around the outside and that are extremely hard to find any information on. This large 9 1/2” wide basket has a lot of wear on the under-base and has a rough pontil. It is cased glass with an inner cobalt blue layer and a clear layer on the outside…any ideas?
it is beautiful, that white decorations so different to anything I have seen.... Murano perhaps?

You can rule out Fenton and Westmoreland, based on the pontil mark. Probably Pilgrim and Rainbow, too.
Possibly made by Blenko, though I have never seen a basket by them. Their old catalogs are available on their web site dating back to the 1950s.
