Shimmering Opalescent

This hand blown, ribbed vase was a gift. The picture doesn't do it justice, as the colors are vibrant. In normal light, the bottom is blues and greens, then moves up to pinks and golds. The top rim is golds and pinks. The photo on the right is looking down into the vase, the light circle being the bottom. The glass is semi transparent when looking down into it, but I couldn't take a picture to show the effect. It's beautiful. The colors come alive when moved in the light.
