Wow!! Now, that's one truly wonderful turtle. I love everything about it.
I almost expect the turtle's head to start bobbing, gorgeous !~
He is BEAUTIFUL!!! I also have to ask if the design on his shell is a ships wheel?! because it definitely looks like it, the added designs on his shell make him look like an ancient carving too... very exquisite :D

Scott thank you for your fantastic comment, he is a very unusual "olde tyme" turtle I was lucky to come across
Lol Phil, it does appear to have a bobbing head and be on the move! Thank you for your super compliment & great imagery
Lauren my uber-observant friend, I did not catch that resemblance to a ship's wheel on top, keen eye! It is actually just a half wheel design as it's only a one sided pattern, but isn't it cool & love those curls with the green stones inside, yes it does have an ancient mysterious look. Fabulous praise as ever thank you so much :)
Thanks Oroyoroy for your wonderful comment and yep, the folks at Florenza called this Renaissance style, made alot of their stuff in an older "antiqued" look. What I like about them is they didn't mass produce their jewelry, for example I've only ever seen this turtle in one listing, the owner was away but fortunately I grabbed it when they returned
Thank you MrsT for your marvelous praise for this turtle, its shell design is really pretty I agree, Florenza put alot of thought into the design
