18 inches long and 14 inches tall.
We want to know the story behind this porcelain, the artist is nowhere to be found, the name is something like J. Stewarte.

Very stunning piece!!
That's beautiful!
It's J. Stewart - and he sculpted for Capodimonte. The real mark is a Crown with a N. But this is a fake. The mark is possibly by ALFRO LONDON, that made copies!
Here's the Capodimonte one:

Here's one marked by Echt Altmann porcelain.

I think "J. Stewart" - (one of the signature is very clear) is not a real person.
Google J. Stewart Porcelain. 'He' did horses, polar bears and elephants. AND the Google J Stewarle porcelain. These all seem to be copies of the ORIGINAL by Hutschenreuther horses. The ORIGINAL copies were made my ECHT ALTMANN Porcelain. HOW CONFUSING!
I looked around too and found several similar pieces...
