    Hello everyone!!
Among all of my match holders is this wonderful little 19th century cherub driving a sled with what appears to be a egg. Such amazing detail on this one, from the cherub, to the egg and to the ivy leaves on the side of the sled. The sled serves as the striker plate. The cherub and sled are plated spelter and the egg is porcelain. This one dates back to mid-1800’s and I’ve not seen another like it. Please excuse the dust and dirt. I guess if I was this old, I'd be this dusty as well. This one measures 4 1/2” long, 2 1/8” wide and 3 1/2” tall.

Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
    Scott
