Hello everyone!!
I recently acquired this antique French made hare game plaque. I believe the hare is actually bronze plated lead, but I could be wrong about that. It’s heavy and the plaque measures 7 5/8” long and 3 3/4” wide. The hare measures about 6” long. The leg has been repaired at some point in time, but still doesn’t distract from its beauty. This would date somewhere between the mid to late 1800’s.
