Here is a copy of the Indianapolis Times newspaper. It shows The Beatles landing at Weir Cook Airport shortly before 1am. Later in the day, The Beatles would play 2 shows at the Indiana State Fair at 6:21 pm and 9:30pm. This would be the bands only stop in Indiana. They were in the middle of their first "coast to coast" tour of the US & Canada...(August 19-September 20, 1964). The paper is signed on the front page by drummer Sammy Creason. He was the drummer for one of the opening acts on the tour,...The Bill Black Combo.
