Ugo Zaccagnini figurine

I almost did not buy this piece, nearly too big, a life-sized rooster (or fighting cock)

this is an unique piece, different than many of the more common bird figurines by Zaccagnini

Ugo was a sculptor but I am not sure this piece goes that far back and might have been a design by one of his sons or employees

Just found more info and this piece was made between 1938-58 and probably by sculptor Mario Bandini
