    Hi everyone. I picked up this oil rocker can the other day its in fairly good condition for 20s but can't find anything like it and was wondering if someone could give me an idea on rarity. Thanks

      Maple Leaf Oil and Gas Company, Limited - 1920 - circa 1937
      Maple Leaf Oil and Gas Company was incorporated in Ontario in 1920. According to the 1937 edition of The Financial Post Survey of Canadian Oils, Maple Leaf Oil and Gas is "Believed to be inactive as no trace can be found of company or no information has been made available on operations”.

      Maple Leaf Oil & Refining Co. - 1931-1992
      According to the Alberta Companies list, Maple Leaf Oil & Refining was incorporated in 1931 and was on the books until 1992, although it is listed as inactive after 1977. From a sampling of various issues of the Financial Post Survey of Oils from the mid-1930s to the 1970s, Maple Leaf was never listed there."

      dav2no1 thank you for the response and taking the time to see what you could find. That is some new interesting info about the company i did not come across. I will check historical society see what they say as well. Cheers
