I found this sign in Deland Fl.
Corporal Grady C. Palmatier was a WW11 Bataan Death March POW. His story lives on with his son and daughter in law. They allowed me to take a lot of photos. I can only load 4 photos on here. He was awarded the bronze star 3 times. Every year he met up with all the POW’S of the Bataan Death March. His gas station still stands in Deland.
Great sign Trey, and what an impressive backstory about Cpl Palmatier. Anyone who survived the Bataan death march was an exceptional hero, God bless him
