Here is a 4 1-2"H ceramic baby giraffe with orange spotted coat, gold and platinum highlights, item #747 from the late 1990s 25th anniversary animal series by artist Jorge DeRosa for Uruguay's Artesania Rinconada. Paired with a tropical 9 1-2" bone china giraffe salad plate from the Exotic Jungle series by Fitz and Floyd 2001

They are so unusual and beautiful, the plate is fantastic! The design is so .. rainforest-y(?) Which I believe isn't out of the realm of possibilities as giraffes can inhabit rainforest regions?
I also love the seated one, with the little twist of the head, looks like a calf actually!

Lauren thank you for your super praise for these giraffes! The plate is from a series called Exotic Jungle that does seem to have rainforest background designs, here it's a nice framing for the giraffe's pretty head. And the figure is supposed to be a baby giraffe so your insight is perfect my friend, and I'm glad I found a different type of animal to show you for a change :)
