Athearn O scale car

Someone (I believe it was fortapache) mentioned Athearn having used scrap metal, from other sources, because sheet metal was still in short supply, after WWII. Here is an O Scale car, showing the Coca-Cola bottlecap logo which was mentioned, printed on the underside. Unacceptable, for Coke, Athearn bought the sheets, and put them to good use. The metal is thinner than what was normally used, and brass, rather than tinned steel.
