I have spent weeks trying to locate this specific oil lamp online but have not had any luck. I recently bought an old rustic cabin in Michigan and it has 2 oil lamps inside. The issue is one of the oil lamps is missing the burner, regulator and glass. I'm trying to find the same exact oil lamp so they are a match. I've attached 4 pictures, the first one is mine in the cabin without the glass on. Second one was from an online auction but no information on manufacturer. Last two photos and from a image sharing website under "oil lamp" but also has zero information on manufacturer. There are no manufacturer markings anywhere on the lamp. As you can see the regulator is open, maybe a clover shape and gives no detail towards manufacturer. I am asking for your help, if anyone has any kind of information please let me know. Thank You.
Somewhere, I have a couple of these. I would have bought mine in the 1970s or early 80s, new….they were not antiques. Hope you can get more specific info than I'm giving.
And Welcome to CW!
This may be a silly question, but did you look on the bottom of it? Your answer may be there.
@Watchsearcher, appreciate the welcome, thanks! And my best guess was a time frame in the 70s-80s. I'm assuming a handful of US oil lamp manufacturers existed that do not anymore. Although not an antique yet, maybe one day. I do enjoy the look of the lamp. If by chance you find an extra one in storage make sure to let me know! haha
@shareurpassion, I have scoured this lamp and no markings on the bottom. Only thing is a sticker which reads "Warning: This lamp should only be half filled". I have not looked for markings internally of the lamp yet but did not anticipate any markings to be inside.
I think my son may have my lamps like yours on his screened porch….if so, I’ll look for identification and let u know.
I just Googled “oil lamp with metal reflector” and came up with one listed for $60 on Etsy being offered by GoldenDreamersShop. The one on Etsy has a sticker warning that the oil receptacle should only be half full…..check it out. :^)
@Watchsearcher, thanks, if he does let me know! And I went to etsy GoldenDreamersShop and found this oil lamp below. Looks like it's similar but not quite it. Appreciate the help.
