    Hello this is a lovely looking but very dirty gemstone, this has still got lots of dirt on it even though it’s been cleaned before. Thought I would post it. To show how dirty the stones are before cleaning is conducted.
    Have no idea what it is, only 0.65 ct

      I've seen stones with buildup on them...My experience is that it is from soap buildup from a woman doing dishes through the years, and most of the time in my case they were genuine diamonds.

      Or it could be leftover paste and glass...

      Thanks mrcorloz, at long last someone who knows something about stones, it’s true that all the clear stones was very grubby, I hadn’t thought of soap buildup, just assumed it was years of sweat & grime. The ones with major buildup , I just thought was really old.
