Here is a 2 5-8"H ruby red glass bulldog with white rhinestone eyes by Westmoreland Glass which was item #75 Small Bulldog, with WG raised imprint under neck as seen in 4th photo.
Reissued by Rosso Wholesale Glass Dealers in 1984, see the mother of pearl version posted here by Kevin-kwqd

Those eyes!!! That stare is something else- he's definitely focused on something anyway! And with his colour it's almost like he's turning red with temper?! XD
It's a nice shade though, very like a cherry too :)
A little dog you just want to scoop up and take home !~

Thank you Scott for your terrific praise for this glass bulldog, as someone with such an amazing collection of bulldog figures I am totally flattered that you liked this little guy!
I know Lauren, those penetrating rhinestone eyes are like the 'thousand yard stare,' a bit scary - and yet, it's sort of a cool touch on a glass animal, Westmoreland also put rhinestone eyes on its small owls (I posted one awhile ago, suitably for Halloween!). He could definitely have anger issues with that red color, and yes I do see the cherry cast :) Wonderful comment & insight thanks so much
Phil it is a lovable mini-puppy size that would fit in a small teacup! It's a very bright color but I liked it best over others cause the eyes really stand out. Thank you for your marvelous comment
