I have weighed this & had a good look at it, it over 6ct , I am wondering what the initial is as I can’t decipher it. Also looks like engraved then gold added. I was wondering if someone would go to all that trouble on a fake stone. Also wondering about how old it looks. And if it can be restored at all.
LHL? I'm sure it could be ground out. IF that's a real ruby? WOW.
Thanks celiene , hopefully it is, but would someone go to the trouble to initial a fake in gold leaf, then set it in a gold shank, it’s not been checked, but I would guess it’s real.
