The coins in this bracelet were identified by a neighbor as Egyptian and from about 1830 or so. The rest of the bracelet is a mystery. Are the glass beads vintage? The caps at the ends of the beads and the chain upon which the charms/ coins are suspended don’t look terribly old . The charms however do look very ancient. Thanks!

From seeing tiny air bubbles in the beads, I’d say they are glass. The end caps on the beads look handmade….I’ve never seen commercially made end caps like that.
Are those ball-shaped metal pieces with slits small bells?
Beautiful and interesting! I’d be happy to wear it.
Middle Eastern coins but someone smarter than I am will have to fill in the details of exactly where they came from….and are they really coins or are they just decorative discs?
I hope you get answers here.

      And welcome to CW!
Thanks for showing your interesting bracelet. :^)

Gorgeous, someone turned this bracelet into an Egyptian inspired charm bracelet. The glass beads may be as early as the 1940's. They are vintage. A lot of people put holes in coins as something to be worn and attached to bracelets. At the time of right after the war, I could see people using coins as silver charms would have been scarce at the time.

The third photo is upside down. It has what looks like a 4 digit year, 1223 (+ 622 = 1845) but also the number 22 at the top. It does not really look like a coin. Some commemorative or religious medallion perhaps?
