Here's what was in that plastic case that looked like it held a typewriter -- and surprise surprise, its a TYPEWRITER?!! <lol>

The Smith-Corona CORONAMATIC electric one that is, which seems like its main "feature" was an easily changeable ink/ribbon cartridge thing that'd pop out of its side...maybe there were different colored ones available or something, I haven't researched it to find out. Its top cover has become cracked in two (and generally discolored??) but otherwise the machine seems intact, I also haven't tried to plug it in to see if it still works.

Guessing it is late 70's-early 80's. Come to think of it, it seems like **lots** of the high-tech gadgets back then (of whatever variety) featured 'pop-out cartridges' for something or other, didn't they...??? <giggle>
