This little milk glass vase is 4.75" high x 3.5" widest diameter. The top is ground but not polished, It appears to have been blown in a mold. It is not marked. The white lines in the flower on the front of the vase are raised glass. I no idea why it was designed this way. Thrift shop find today for $.49.
The colors are pretty vibrant, and it is decorated on all sides, though on two sides that just consists of a dark reddish-purple area. It does not feel American to me though found in a Midwest thrift store. Numerous sort of similar examples found by Google Images claim to be by Fostoria dating to 1900-1920s, some have the raised white areas, too....
One of three finds today, including a Japanese tokanabe vase and very complete Stiffel lamp which I will probably not show.
