    Doedle
    (1 item)

Tool with fairly shape teeth about a foot long. Appears to be some kind of pull saw. What is it and what is it used for?
The handle is stamped with Twin City and PAT APL which I think would be Patent Applied.

    Unsolved Mystery

Welcome to CW. What does the handle say? Looks like Twin City brand? And what does it say below that? Tried to zoom picture, but it gets blurry..
    2. Doedle, 2 years ago
It looks like PAT APL stamped below the Twin City stamping.

Possibly a gardening tool, with teeth to cut roots? I haven't see one just like this one, but could be used that way, maybe!

Looks like some type of agricultural harvesting tool
Sugar beets are popular in the Twin City area
I’m not a farmer but ,I have been
      outstanding in my field

Seems to me that vynil33rpm holds some records revolving producing corn even if he,s not a farmer, that's involving corn knees?

It was just a guess of the scarecrow standing in the field
absent of fingers and toes but
Even still, I can be counted on
Never thinking I was , jimmy crack corn

cabinetmakers use a similar handsaw to cut veneers.

Among my pictures, I uploaded a picture of a veneer saw used by Hungarian cabinetmakers. It was already made with machines. This is a unique handmade piece from the beginning of the 19th century.
