I was out last week and found this Royal Crown Cola thermometer. I traded some old lamps for the thermometer. It looks and works just like the day it was made. Another item to add to the collection.

Hey officialfuel, I have the same one! If you look under the right front edge, you should see a date for this beauty. Like DONASCO the month then year after it.

Signaholic, This one does not have a date on it. The one in the other garage has Donasco 5-53 on it. So do youthink this one is a repop?
No, I'm certain this is the real deal officialfuel! 1, they didn't reproduce these. 2, from what I've been told by serious RC collectors, from the late 50s on into the 60s they became somewhat lazy about dating these. That's why I asked you if it was there. No way it's a repro! Vintage baby! I noticed too that the lettering on yours is a little bit thicker on the drink at the top slogan at the bottom. Other than that, no change at all a great piece!

Also if you look @ the Nehi logo it's a little different then the other ones. It's like three demensional in appearance. Under the termometer it says 123 the others don't . Nice condition.
Beautiful! We have one at the aaaLakeside Storage Museum that we got on a Hunting trip and ours is rough, but looks like it belongs on the side of the old Sinclair Station where it's mounted. Yours looks like it's perfect and right out of the box! Very nice!
