Blue Hand-Blown Glass Vessel

Hello all,
I’m hoping to learn more about my vase. It stands 8” tall, is 14” around the widest part of it’s body, the mouth is 1” across & it’s quite heavy. I would love to know what the application is called that produced the “bubbles”, & I’m interested in knowing more about the pontil mark. Feel free to correct me if I’ve used the incorrect terms.
